@travellingboy1 - If you really believe that the sequence of events as she describes them is "unbelievable", you live in a fantasy world. No one ... would have concluded there was a murder there and gone into hysterics like you want her to have done.
Frankly, sounds like she has more backbone than you if you would have panicked and started running around like a little kid.
She showed more maturity in working through the situation instead of acting like a scared little boy.

@HatingIsUgly She said she found the front door wide open, showered and saw blood in the bathroom, dried her hair and saw a strangers feces in the toilet. She said she did not tell anyone about what she had found until over an hour later...... No matter how you tell her story it is unbelievable.
-
@travellingboy1 - Do you know what it is called when someone engages in twisting the truth to create deception?
That is what you are doing.
You make it sound like she found all this and ignored it and took her shower. THAT IS A LIE. She found door open, took shower. THEN she noticed a spot of blood on faucet and red stain on rug. THEN she dressed, dried her hair. THEN she saw feces. She grabbed mop and left. NOTHING in that suggested murder. Maybe a robbery. She got advice what to do.

@HatingIsUgly The fact is Amanda said she found the front door wide open, blood in the bathroom, a strangers feces in the toilet, and told no one for 2 hours. No matter how you try to justify her story it is still unbelievable.

@wanderingbillyboy - Since that is NOT WHAT happened? No one can ask what she would have done. She took a shower after finding the door open which was often the case since it didn't latch unless locked. Everything else you mention, drop of Amanda's blood on faucet, red stain on rug and crap in toilet was noticed AFTER the shower. And what did she do? She got dressed and left. Still, nothing in those odd bits would have had anyone thinking murder.

@turockandar - And that is the 2nd to last book that should be read if you want facts and not fantasy. The last book would be by Follian.
-
@travellingboy1 - I don't know since that IS NOT WHAT HAPPENED AT THE MEREDITH'S COTTAGE.

@travellingboy1 - You can pull one statement out and repeat it and repeat it and it won't change the testimony. She said that they often left the door open for short periods like taking the trash out, or getting a smoke or seeing the boys downstairs. Probably other reasons, too, not mentioned. She didn't see the blood and crap until AFTER THE SHOWER.
Still, none of that would make a normal person (which apparently you are not since that is where your mind would first go) think murder.
-
@travellingboy1 - Really need to do your research. Her statement was that the room mates often would leave the door open to get a smoke, pop downstairs to see the boys, to take out the trash.
She then took a shower. It was AFTER that she noticed the red stain on rug (it was NOT fresh blood) and dried spot on faucet (which was hers anyway) she didn't see the crap in the toilet until she was drying hair. What did she do then? Got dressed and left quickly. EXACTLY WHAT WOULD BE EXPECTED.
-
@travellingboy1 - Seriously? She does not have to shout it, the court did it already and it went around the world. How could she have said it any louder by the coverage of the verdict and upon her return home at the press conference?
What do you want? A press conference every week - "Here just to remind all you pea brains with no memory - I am innocent, just like you heard on Oct 2nd".
@hunnybunnyboo0208 .Amanda said she returned home to the cottage found the front door wide open, no one in, blood in the bathroom, shit in the toilet, Did she call her flatmates,or her boyfriend,or run to her nieghbours,or shout and scream,NO, She calmly showered, dried her hair, dressed, went to her boyfriends flat, mopped his floor, had breakfast, and only then mentioned what she had found. When questioned one lie leads to another until you have an unbelievable tale like this
