First of all you need a bigger hat haha, second thing is that stove looks good but to big and heavy..for what am I suppose to use it? Maybe if I have a basecamp for a very long time and drive there by car, but how often does that happen. I use a firebox fron tentipi...it folds up to a flat package and is basicly a rectangular box in steel with airholes underneith, it´s not the perfect choise because it´s to heavy for no reason at all, and rust attacks it if it gets wet. Video of it on my channel

Much better to make your own. Recycle, reuse, reclaim!

Add a Solar Oven Society Sport Solar Oven to your kit and you will have a great outfit - and be able to cook in daylight without using fuel, and at night and during inclement weather with your Stovetec!

If you see flame with the pan on, you are giving it too much fuel and air too, probably.

I have no doubt that these stoves get quite hot but is it controllable? I see myself burning a lot of food trying to get the hang of it. Am I wrong?

where can one buy one in Edmonton, Canada?
You should get a wok. The Wok and the Rocket Stove are soulmates.
