Noam Kostucki is the founder of a social eco-system which aims to bring together people who want to make the world a better place. He started his coaching journey when he began to teach judo at fifteen. He is now a training consultant for the Institute of Fundraising and the Directory of Social Change in the UK and develops courses which use current Web 2.0 social media envrionments in fundraising for charities big and small. Since finding his passion for people and organisational development he has trained over four thousand people in thirteen countries, serving institutions which include leading corporations as well as Yale University and the London School of Economics. Not bad for a college dropout.

Noam's talk at TEDxWarsaw http://tedxwarsaw.com explored the virtues of selfishness as a tool for positive growth.

Recently, I got stopped by this homeless guy in the tube. I didn't give him change but a pair of socks I had in my bag. He left so happy: I could see a smile growing on his face. When I left the tube, I now feel good, I feel proud and satisfied.

So really, are we just selfish or is there some good left in us? What do you think?

    Great speech, bright ideas.

I especially enjoy how Noam challenge issues that today's society perceive like something negative: Being aware of our own selfishness or helping others for free is no longer a weird thing, but something that should become everyday habit.

    Congratulations, Noam.
