This is videos and photos of the first gun season of 2008. We harvested 3 deer. All deer are processed for food and do not go to waste. First deer taken Nov. 21st. Mossberg 835 12 guage pump with red dot scope and slug barrel. Ammo was Federal Premium 3 inch with 1 oz load Barnes expandable.

@Pilot10 do you have the rifled slug barrel or the smooth bore? i have a 500 with a rifled slug barrel and the smooth bore that i can put choke tubes in

@rangerkid777 It is a rifled slug barrel that I used for the video and deer hunting. I do have a smooth bore barrel that I can change out.

how do you feel about mossbergs ive looked at a few of em but they all semmed very cheap to me. whats your opinion?

I think they are a mid range gun. They are a nice gun for me as I only hunt a few times a year. Of course they aren't a Benelli or a Browning or a Remington but I rather have a gun I can knock around and not be that particular with. Walking around in flooded fields and snow I would be a little more hesitant to lay my $1000 gun down while field dressing a deer in the middle of a corn field. I think they are a good gun and I haven't had a problem with it. Good luck with your choice.

What kind of Mossberg were you using? Also was that a TruGlo sight?

@Pilot10 is this cam worth $116 and what would u rate it how are the day and night pics are there any flaws what would u rate it 1/10 on quility of the whole unit an quility on the photos and how hard is it to use and hows the warrenty
