you're so mean. WHAT DID THAT LITTLE GUY EVER DO TO YOU!!

This gecko needs to be taken away from him and he needs to be hanged and whipped with steel whipes with spikes on the sides then tossed in a river of sharks and sent through a meatgrinder into a toxic acid pool and obliterated by a nuke.

I have the exact same kind!

He does realize that when you grab them from behind ESPECIALLY if you just got it it can drop it's tail from being scarred. I've had mine for a little over a week and I've been putting my hand in his tank twice a day and he's getting use to me and responds to my voice and I'm just now starting to gently pet him you can't just grab at it you have to get it use to you slowly

Even when u had them for 5-6 years they still get stressed by handling. You should ALWAYS and i mean ALWAYS handle them of a maximun of 1 times every 2nd week. Or in my oppinion sell your leopard gecko 'cause your interests in the gecko is clearly handling since u try to pick it up at the 2nd day. If your interests from reptiles is handling THEN DONT GET THEM. They will never like you no matter what, they can't be happy to get picked up like a dog or cat. If u want a pet, THEN GET A PET!

Lol you guys do realize bitching about this is a lost cause? This was posted in 2009, I'm sure this person knows more about leopard geckos now.

Big woop. Get over yourself. They have different characteristics, I picked up another African Fat Tail today from a local reptile shop, we have several in the area, and the breeder told me that some of them hiss and scream because of being placed into strange new habitats.
Talk about Naive.

@ChristieDarlinn temperamental? I have three leopard geckos, and NONE of them screamed at me at any point of time when they first arrived. And most of the time, you get leopard geckos from a pet store, and I'm pretty sure most breeders are careful with their geckos.
Don't lecture me.

@Pop77o7 Oh my god. Shut the fuck up mate!? The leopard gecko is clearly just spooked. She's been placed into a bran-new habbitat as well as a knew home, they are bound to be temperamental. Also, this guy only had her 2 days! If she's acting like this for any other reason it is down to her previous owner or breeder. Twat.

@IamNigahigaFan I did. This video is just insensitive. I don't care if this baby didn't scream first day, the fact zerofreeze posted this up showing his/her gecko in distress is insensitive.
like this comment if you agree with me that this guy is an absolute idiot and should be smacked for abusing that poor little guy for "entertainment purposes"

Hey dumb ass, you aren't supposed to mess with them for a week when you get them.
