Sylvia (Erica Sullivan), a cute dog, would do anything for Greg (John Procaccino). A constant companion, she loves him unconditionally and hangs on his every word. Greg would do anything for Sylvia, including stay home from work to spend time with her. Gregs wife Kate (Karen Ziemba), on the other hand, isnt thrilled that Sylvias made herself so at home. Gurney charms with his comedy about married life, the things that bind us, and the dogs that get in the way. Also with Jacob Ming-Trent. Through March 14 at Long Wharf Theatre, 222 Sargent Drive, New Haven, CT, 06511. For tickets call 203-787-4282 or visit www.longwharf.org.
I wish I could have seen this production, SYLVIA is a favorite play of mine, and I never find out about shows until long after they have closed. :-(
A great play, catch it if it opens at a playhouse near you.

Definitely the play for dog lovers! Should be interesting to explore the wife's feelings about her husbands attachment to the little creature.
