Polygon - an original song

Yay! A song!
So I originally wrote this for guitar but I didn't like how it turned out, so I translated it to uke, which I'm terrible at playing. So yeah.

Lyrics!

A lot of people spend their lives waiting
for a train that's never going to come.
We set out walking,
and we're almost halfway done.

They looked me in the eye and said you need to chose your future,
you need to know where you're going, what you're doing, who you are,
well let me walk, let me run, let me fly; I'll be fine.

Maybe I do need to choose,
and maybe there's no time for me to lose,
but seeing as I'm so confused,
maybe I'll just wait.
And maybe time will tell me so,
or maybe I will never know,
I don't really mind not knowing,
who I really am.

They talk about self-discovery,
it's really not the path for me,
I'll only cross this river when it
bursts it's banks and floods.

Maybe I'm a polygon,
number of sides unknown,
I'll follow this road I'm on,
I trust it to lead me somewhere.
