There is a very interesting list of MANY famous people who had polio on the website for Disabled-world. The list includes Donald Sutherland, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Alan Alda, Sir Arthur Charles Clarke, Olympic Athletes Wilma Rudolph and Georgia Coleman, Australian Billionaire Kerry Packer, American Billionaire Dennis Washington, Jack Nicklaus, Mia Farrow, Marion Davies, Neil Young, Saxophonist David Sanborn, Joni Mitchell, Supreme Court Justice William Orville Douglas & Francis Ford Coppola

@hadarnan8 Yes, it was caused from a bad vaccine. Too much of the live virus in it, is what they thought at the time.

@WNxMercy Active Polio is contagious. Mine was not. It was from a vaccination, and I was never contagious or a threat to anyone else.

@MovieMonopoly highly.

@DeviousBetrayer If you live in a country without sufficient medical treatment or poverty, you can easily die from the plague in the 21 century.

Such a positive nice lady
Eileen is absolute inspiration. The people who know her undeniably use 2 words to describe her, "angelic" and "heroic." The talent/looks combination is a plus to her defining character strengths. Love her!!!

In life you rarely meet people that truly inspire you and help you search within yourself for that strength that seems to resonate from a etherial place within... Eileen Grubba is one of those people.
What a light that walks among us.
