See the pirates exposed! Pirate fishing is the biggest threat to the world's dwindling fish stocks, and particularly impacts fishing communities in some of the world's poorest countries who depend on the sea for income and food. In April the Binar 4 was observed taking part in pirate fishing activities off the coast of Guinea by the Environmental Justice Foundation and Greenpeace. The pirate vessel was followed from West Africa to Europe, and while waiting to enter port it was branded a pirate with the slogan "Stolen Fish" painted five times across both sides of the hull.
