@darwincity personally i like the recent euronews take of the weather much better. the channel's logo, the music and their style are in perfect harmony with the selected ultra-minimalism.

No, I think Russia is fully european country, and Turkey is in many respects too. In any case, most people in these countries considers itself as Europeans.
In addition, "they" show also Near East and North Africa, which are absolutely not european.

@98bigbutt Yes, of course, but besides geographical there are also others criteria, which allow to estimate the position of country, particularly, the political and cultural ones. In my comment I wanted to say that Turkey, by her political and cultural criteria, is in many ways the European country, but, in spite of this, in my opinion she is still more the Asian country than the European one, although many things make her close to Europe.
