I've always been a walker man but those are some good looking hounds in your movie.................music was good too.
I have owned several bloodhounds and would potentially be interested in buying a coonhound. There does not seem to be any coonhound breeders in Sweden where I live. Are there any breeders elsewhere in Scandinavia/Northern Europe?

Hi. Thank you for commenting. Coonhounds were developed from foxhounds that were imported from Great Britain and Europe in the 18th and 19th Centuries. One coonhound breed, the Plott, comes from Germany and was originally a boar and bear hound. I don't know if there are any coon hound breeders in Europe; there are no raccoons. But there are foxhounds and other kinds of hounds and they are smart, nice hounds, too. Get a hound from a breeder that hunts for the healthiest and smartest hound.

Ha ha ha... you are right.. if she was running coon but she's not... she's running squirrels. Since taking this video, these hounds have become very good squirrel dogs. Dulcie, with the yellow collar, trees so hard that she'll run a squirrel from tree to tree, following it, for an hour or more until the squirrel finally hides in a nest, then she'll stay at that tree until I go get her. I am told that's pretty good. She thinks it's fun! Thanks for the comment!-C.
