@rarebutgreat Casino Royale was one of the most faithful Bond adaptations. In fact many of the classic Bond films would use the name of one of Ian Flemming's stories yet the plot of the movie would be a mish mash of different Flemming Bond stories. Sorry to burst your bubble, but Craig fits Ian Flamming's Bond to a T. This incarnation of Bond is far more faithful to the source material.
Brosnan did one really good Bond film and that was Goldeneye. Die Another Day was atrocious.

Diamonds Are Forever 5.Moonraker 4,The World is Not enough 3.Goldeneye 2.Casino Royale and first and i realise nobody will agree but it is the first and best Bond film i've seen and i've seen all of them i've got to go with Die Another Day

The new bond films are not bond filmsanymore just dumbed down no brainer action movies. Craig has to be the worst choice ever for the role, Brosnan still had a couple more films to get under his belt and then that should have been it
