With one of my uncles cars, if you go over a speed bump all the gauges will start going up and down for a few seconds...But this is wierd..

mine did that too i put a new fuel pump and sending unit in and it fixed it was easy to install pulling off the bed is way easier than dropping the tank trust me

Chev has a major problem with there sending unit inside the gas tank. It causes most of these issues. I had a Venture, Impala and Express Van all had issues with the sending units. There in the tank and a pain in the ass to replace because you have to drop the tank. They can cost upto 200 just for the sending unit! Best advise try to find one from a donar vehical and test it first

I have an Accord 92 with the fuel gauge stuck. and i think is the needle and not the fuel pump b/c i took the cluster out just the change a bulb and after that it never worked again..

i have a 99 chevy that does the same thing it stays at 3/4 tank for about 40 miles than from 3/4 to 1/2 it takes only about 20 miles and than it stays there to for awhile its weird

The one on my 93 dakota does that. its just the float or the gas swishing around in the tank. whenever I go down a hill the needle goes to E but when I go up one it goes to F. it sucks though if you don't have the low fuel chime or if its broken like mine. the one thing to look for on any car (when you find time) is how many gallons are left when the needle first hits E. on my vehicle i have 4 gallons left. or you can do the tripmeter trick hopefully it helps next time you have that problem.

my dads truck's fuel gage vibrates really really fast. it only moves a little but realy fast its a blur
