To catch up on the story.

Beatriz lives in Costa Rica. One day, her friend Catarina gives Beatriz her acceptance letter to the University of Madrid. Beatriz wants to go to the University of Madrid. She doesn't have enough money so she goes to a professor named Juan Lucas for help. He lets her go in exchange for delivering a cello there. Right after she leaves, her parents see Juan Lucas get arrested. Once she leaves the airplane, she meets these two people named Oscar, who points out that he has a pistol, and some other lady. They take her to their house on the highway where they're found by a little girl who's walking along the highway. The girl tells Inspector Diaz who's actually working with the kidnappers because the cello turns out to have emeralds in it. Beatriz's parents send her brother and Orlando to Madrid to look for her. They find her and take her from the kidnappers.
