I tried it but it made my phone work so very slow. at least Android did, when I went back to Windows everything was normal. Too bad cause it looked very nice.

@oneops I cant get herit to boot linux. What am I doing wrong?
-
TP2 is free from t-mobile

there is nothing special about android, yes it is a bit faster besides that a tp2 can perform 100% of the same tasks as android! Just like when the iphone was released it was very popular but tp2 rapes the iphone! now google is copying both phones and trying to perfect/imitate them!

There is a new version for the Touch Pro 2. Go to PPCGeeks(dot)com. Just go to Forums and choose the Touch Pro 2 and you'll see at the top (Android Development) or something like that. 3g works, wifi works, G-sensor, Market, etc.) It's really coming along. I can't wait until they get a fully functional build! It's awesome running both Windows and Android.
