In the village of Chunchi, in the middle of the Ecuadorian Andes, people have many stories to tell about fellow villagers who left the region for the United States or Europe in search of a better future. Some returned and tell us how they struggled to start afresh in a village that now seems to offer a greater range of opportunities than it did in the past.

En el pueblo de Chunchi en medio de los andes ecuatorianos se saben contar muchas historias sobre las y los migrantes que se han ido rumbo a Estados Unidos o Europa en búsqueda de un futuro mejor. Algunos han vuelto y cuentan cómo han seguido adelante en un pueblo que ahora parece ofrecerles más oportunidades que antes.
