@mickhutchinson Thanks! Marshall Major... Yes, I'm in a band doing standard rock/blues covers but It's getting pretty boring I'm afraid. Currently looking for more adventurous music to play, and make some proper songs out of all these snippets in my head. Got a modded Peavey C30 and a 2X12 w. Greenbacks, main guitar is Gibson SG with some mods and A8/A4 Phat Cat bridge. Sounds good.

Hi Mick! Gotta tell you it's damn nice to find you, Andy and Del here on 'tube! I remember in 1976 taping music from the Swedish National Radio and suddenly some crazy voice screams "I don't wanna feel good!", a fat/sharp-sounding guitar-lick answered and start off THAT groovy song... I was already playing guitar at that point but this was EXCITING and inspiring! It took me many years to track down who it was (edited recordings on-the-fly and didn't get who it was on the tape). Thank you!
Hi Mick !
What a wonderful lesson of using extended Pentatonic :-D
In the seventies the first Album I get only by seeing the cover was Clark Hutchinson. My favourite until today: "free to be stoned". timeless good :-)
I would cover it with some kids at school. Its hard to play it like you do ;-)
tell me: did you play D-tunig or an other or is it standard E?
Whats your profession today? pensioner, studiomusician, guitarteacher or
have you enough money to do what you like?
Greatings from Germany.

I wonder what gear you used then, and what you use now (besides from high quality japanese guitars)? Great sound, still that fat/sharp thing!

jublaim Then , I used a Gibson ES 345 and Marshall 200 watt all valve or a Marshall
50 watt all valve .
Now , it's a
Marshall DSL 60 watt all valve or a Marshall JMP1 valve preamp .Using the speaker emulated direct out With a. bit of treble removed from the DSL 60 as it can be a bit harsh withithout that done .
Are you in a band ?
