This music is image song of "My Neighbor Totoro", and the title is "The Path of Wind".
The player is arpista (arpa player), Mika Agematsu (上松美香).
The arpa is a kind of plucked string instruments, and means the harp in Spanish and Italian.
In Japan, it is called Arpa.　But in other country, it seems that is called in various names.
For example, the Indian harp or Latin harp or Paraguay harp...etc.

I'm a 44 old year man who rented it for the first time 4 weeks ago then went and bought the DVD. I love it. I'm gonna get the 3 Totoro figures and the soot sprites from Playlounge in London! Like I said before this my favourite piece of music from the film. I find it all very moving even at my age. BTW I'm also a hard core Hello Kitty fan too. Thank you so much for your time and effort on this post

I think it is a present from Pixar for the viewer in Japan.

The movie is coming up to the release.

I'm looking forward to it.

and I'm not a hard-core fan but I love "Hello Kitty" too.

For me, Hello Kitty is a familiar character from childhood.

first of all, my english isn't very good :D (I'm from germany - yippeeyayeeh). I love this song and I play the harp, too. But my problem is that I don't find notes that fit exactly to this version of the song. Are they available anywhere?? (If not I think I have to do it with the notes from the internet). I hope someone knows ;)
