Child Abuse: A reading from chapter Humiliation

Hey, Your website has been really helpful.. but i dont get what this part has to do with humilliation, did I miss something?

my mum used to refuse to let me wear clothes becuse I would spill food on myself so up until i was 12 she would make me stay around the house naked.. that was humiliation.

I'm sorry you had to face such terrible humiliation by your mother. I too was humiliated in many ways by my mother, even though I didn't read about the actual incident that is reflected in my book. My reading was from the chapter titled Humiliation. The paragraph I wrote for YouTube was more about the chapter, not the excerpt I read. Perhaps therein lies the confusion. Within the time allotted for the reading, I couldn't include the actual event without spending way more than 10 minutes.

i have been sitting here fretting that i am a big fat loser for having "mommy issues", but this video made me feel safe. thank you so much for posting. my grandmother has been my rescuer, and my mother has poisoned all of my family relationships as well. it is SEVERELY painful, and it never goes away, even though im 28.
