Twas the week before Halloween, and the rains came pouring down for Danya & Eddies Wedding Celebration at the Mountain Top Inn & Resort in Chittenden, Vermont. All throughout the mountains, only a few yellow leaves remained, and the streams and rivers thundered with up to 2″ of rain. The ceremony was held below the timbers by the blazing stone fireplace while dozens of votive candles flickered their warm light. Miraculously the rain stopped just as the happy couple emerged from the Inn for their afterglow session! All through the formals the rain held off, alternately revealing the lake and then hiding it again in mist. At one point some blue sky peaked through!
Autumn weddings have their own magic, and we strive to capture the ambience of candles and fireplaces, and even darkened dance floors. The last thing we want to do is blast away with flash, so we use the fastest and most expensive lenses available and add just a touch of flash and bounce it whenever we can, to find that perfect balance of light.
As usual, the Mountain Top staff delivered a wonderful wedding experience that was enjoyed to the fullest by all in attendance! We cant wait til our next wedding there, in January 2010!
