Totally pointless song, but beast :D

@MuckyPup1969 You have no life. Relient K is obviously a very talented band. You obviously have no taste in music. what a loser

What possessed such a terrible band to cover such a great folk song?
-
Way too polished sounding, they sound like a grown up Disney boy band. :(

@TheEqualyzr Auto- tune is used very lightly in this song. The engineers in this situation did not use it correctly however because you can hear it when Matt sings "town" at about :20 or :21. I don't think it's wrong for RK to use it in this situation. You know they dont use it live, but since this was a recorded session that would be publicized, they did add a subtle use of Antarez auto-tune FX on each VOX track just because its hard to keep perfectly on pitch when you're singing high harmonies

There's no way this is autotuned. You can still hear the natural "imperfections" in the vocal pitch. I use that word with quotes because the "voice is imperfect" attitude is what created bland vocals in today's pop music. Autotune does have its place when blatantly robotic tones are desired, but if used in any other way, the entire band might as well be synthesized.

Anyone who thinks Relient K uses autotune has obviously never seen them live.
