Part 1 of 2

The eighth speed run in a series of levels.

The goal of the complete run is to use a firemoth only where allowed, therefore times may be improved in larger mechs, however that is not the goal.

This mission I have had great difficulty with, recording trouble you name it...
So I have attempted to do my best and survive in one peice in this recording more than anything.

I had a better time 8:52 prior to this one, but it did not get recorded unfortuneatly. With a larger mech this mission could be probably done in 4 min if the mech was fast enough.

The most trouble I had was with the elementals, normally those are not an issue, but in a firemoth they are a big problem! Elementals for those who are unaware are men/women in Battlesuits who in MechWarrior 2 are extremely difficult to hit without a large mech.

Ha yeah same here. I can't remember a time both Jenners made it to the ground alive for me

huh, both Jenners made it all the way down. Although they sometimes made it, usually in my games, one of them would mess up and get killed from the fall. One time I got lucky and BOTH of them failed to control their fall - and blew up. :D

Wow. Elementals were so much stronger in 31st CC. In mercs they'd die with one or two hits from anything.

This mission was always my favorite. I was like 3 when I first played this so when I heard them say planet Toicroth I said toilet paper lolz. I had my dad pilot and I fired and I said once "Shooting the F***ing guy!" lolz.
