Ha ha, see, the irony is that people's history was a necessary rebuttal to the revisionist history popularized as the mythos of the american government. Hilarious!
Mike, you've used "note" and "bill" for a bank deposit receipt or slip.
Both terms have legal definitions, and neither are "a receipt for a cash deposit."
And the "commercial law" you referred to is The Uniform Commercial Code. It's similar to maritime law, i.e. it's NOT English Common law or Napoleonic Code. (applicable in Louisiana) It is equity jurisdiction and it gives lawyers and courts room to swindle not permitted under common law.
Under the UCC "he who seeks equity must do equity."
I have read that piece of anti-American revisionist history. It selectively highlights dark moments in our history and leaves out all the glorious accomplishments of those who made this great country. A better use of your time is to read Liberal Fascism by Jonah Goldberg, a very enlightening book about the roots of the "progressive" movement which is rooted in old worn out 20th century facist doctrine. Better yet, do your own personal genealogy and see what your ancestor's did for you!
My religious affiliation or lack of one has no place in this discussion. I am an American patriot. My family has been in America since the 1600's. They fought in the American Revolution and every war since. They were Union and Confederate. My husband's ancestors landed at Plymouth and were abolitionists. The sweat and blood of our forefathers and mothers have earned us the right to participate in politics at whatever level we please. We are Americans! We shall never be subdued!
As an "American" I have as much right to get involved in politics as anyone whether I am Christian or not. I don't think I mentioned being Christian so I think you are making assumptions. Of course taxes won't be used for one person's will, but there was more than one person at the Tea Party despite what the leftist broadcasters would like people to believe. What goes Left, must go Right.

@swiiila It has everything to do with this discussion. Do me a favor and read A People's History of the United States.
