playing with the 8055 again, this time trying to detect the beat of the music, works just need to make it a lot less sensitive, source code available i you really want it, or to laugh at my bad programming
EDIT: the laptop that had the source code buried on it, has since been put into a playstation case, drive was horribly corrupted so i wiped it, source not available :D

Nice man! i did it with vb2008 express and the bass.dll i thin my way was much easier but yours seems to me like the professional way !

ew vb, yuckyuckyuck, much easier to get it working correctly with it though, my way involves hard coding the beat detection, which i need to streamline a LOT for it to be any good
and source code is buried in a dead liunux partition, but i'll add you to the list for when i get it again
