The landscape painters from the Yellow Barn Studio, an arts studio located in Glen Echo, MD, (yellowbarnstudio.com) deal with changing light and inclement weather and toughest of all, group criticism. If this overview of the joys of painting outdoors doesn't make you want to pick up your french easel and blank canvas and head outside I don't know what will. Video produced by Cathy Grubman.
It's very fantastic and enjoyable!
I wish I could join..I have no chance..
I haven't even got any friends who can oil paint or share ideas with me.
Please could you someday put a video of your discussions?

Do what I am doing: create one. You can start out informally just by going out to paint and letting other artists know. Google in "pleinairpainters" --it is a website of plein air painters you can join online, and it provides the ability to create local groups so people can communicate with each other and set up events. Things can grow from there!
