can't wait to get mine..just ordered it a little while ago. have a 9mm taurus pt247 g2 and i just ordered the glock 21 gen 4 so hopefully it does what i want it to. i wanna have the gun at the range that sounds like bombs going off the 9mm just doesn't do it lol..and intruders should never leave alive haha

@MrJo1340 "stopping power" isn't a myth its an actual thing you can observe sure a .22 lr is lethal but a .45 acp still drops people better than the 9mm will

@Snyder2112 I agree with 100% that the .45 packs a fierce punch & will probably knoock down an attacker with one hit. But I don't understand why most ppl dismiss a good hallow 9mm round comparable to a mosquito bite. The G19 has much less recoil + more round capacity. Personally I'm on the fence on this one so I think I'll get a G23

@MrJo1340 a chest and head shot will do the trick but keep in mind when you have to do this your adrenaline is maxed out and your heart rate is through the roof and your attacker may or may not have a firearm also, and if you go to the range and stand in your lane and put holes in paper you may have problems under stress one shot from a slow moving 45 has been proven to do massive damage to the body no mater where you put it. 9mm's are notorious for going in and out

@wilmerpola777 Agreed. However, my problem with this comment and the millions of other comments like it is the fact that Joe Blow defending his life or home in a high stress scenario with the adrenaline flowing isn't going to shoot the mythical two in the chest, one in the head. He's going to shoot for center mass, probably a little low. Don't take my word for it, look up statistics involving normal folks shooting pistols in simulated self-defense classes.

@Snyder2112 The .45 is stronger than the 9mm. I cannot argue against that. However, with the advancements of modern hollow points and the reliability of theses rounds, the 9mm is a solid Self-defense round.
