Eulogy, a world premier play, was conceived by the young cast members, director, and playwright of the Speak-Out on Stage, Senior program of Imagination Stage. This play explores the effects that grief has on an individual as well as the society we live in. In the present, desperate to save her family from collapse following the sudden death of a child, a young daughter sets out to find a cure for grief. And in a future where grief has been eradicated, another young girl struggles to fulfill a grandmother's last wish. Separated by time, can they help each other find a way to save both of their families? This exciting new play, generated collaboratively by talented ensemble of eleven young artists, asks the question: What is it that allows us to heal and to move on family, friends, or grief it self?
