CWA Confronts AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson on Wall St

CWA Local 1298, AT&T telecommunications workers in Connecticut, protested CEO Randall Stephenson as he made a presentation at a Goldman Sachs event on Wall Street. More than 4,000 CWA members in Connecticut have been without a contract since April.

Together with almost 60,000 other unionized AT&T workers nationwide still fighting for a fair settlement, they're demanding that the company (which has made $6 billion in profits already this year, recession or no recession) take outrageous health care cost-shifting off the table and ensure that adequate staffing remains in Connecticut to meet customer demands.

u no wht really pisses me off is in the video u cansee 2 or 3 people tht have verizon phones and tht is the main people who dont want the two companys two merge im an at&t customer and i cant wait for them 2 come together it can only benefit people who r with at&t and tmobile the main argument is tht people r afraid at&t will become dominant and raise prices witch wont happen i mean they will become the largest phone company in the us but people still have verizon, sprint, and us cellular

At&t DSL is not Unlimited anymore. 150gb per month cap allowed . there stock is doing really well still. just make sure you keep an eye on how much your using daily

One more reason why ATT's network sucks. Controlled by unskilled union labor. These guys are moronic idiots. Thats okay though all the talent has come over to Verizon Wireless. Non unionized and the best network in the nation. Best pay and benefits. We don't need no smelly union

@Endgame1979 ooo yeah i'm sure the walking in circles really threatened mr. stephenson. i guess that's why we got SUCH a great contract this run around. please, cwa is fitting nice and snug in the pockets of at&t while workers pay for them to "represent" them. cwa claims that they really stuck to their guns during bargaining but no proof exists and if this is the most that happened its no wonder. i understand what you were trying to accomplish but sometimes u gotta get your hands dirty
