Killing napster led to multiple copycats, all metallica did is give napster publicity and that increased piracy of music. Metallica sucks. If I had been in there position I would have tried to utilize napster as a tool to make money instead of demonizing it and making it more popular. The band members are all pretty stupid. Metallica got a youtube channel in the spring of this year. Apparently time magazine had to bring youtube to Metallica's attention for them to even realize this site existed.

New Metallica is shit. 'Tis what greed does to someone. Maybe if they produced better songs and the midget didn't have a Napoleon complex, I'd have sympathy.

Scratch that. The guy is a millionaire. Unless his family died in a plane crash or his dog choked to death on his own dick, I could care less about his woes.

I was really shocked there was a backlash facing Metallica - this is justified. When an athlete signs a $100 mil contract people know they're getting paid based on how much the team/leagues make. When Metallica simply asks to keep their music theirs in principle, I see it as good for the industry. Now file-sharing wars are HUGE and they are still demonized by some. This shit could drive up CD costs if it got too out of hand and I always want them to put material out - Death Magnetic is stellar.

I found this video really funny but I do like Metallica and hope that when they saw this video, they just laughed
