trim boy trim!!! jack plates help, but trim in all the way down/in before taking off and when it gets up trim it up a bit just as the water behind starts to break suface, you stop there, if you are doing a sharp turn you may need to trim down a bit to prevent cavitation. As for the porpusing, just trim until you find that happy spot. Check out the vid of my doral.

if your running a boat like that one without a jackplate, you are wasting your power. no solution to the proper jack plate with setback etc.
