lol, interesting point. I think people would be more outraged if he was eating the dogs, that would be disturbing. Cats would also fall into this double standard and parrots, ferrets, pot-belly pigs, even cows. I imagine that it would be difficult to keep a deer as a domesticated pet though. It would keep eating all your house plants. And I don't think ppl see dogs as equals, but do form a strong bond with them through caring for them and the happiness they can bring to your life.

No I get it, but there is a double standard when it comes to dogs. Many peolpe may be to blind to see it. Our society treats dogs as almost equals to us, but treats all the other animals as animals.People fish and hunt because it is fun, and I understand that people eat these animals, but if Vick was eating those dogs people still would be outraged.

I agree, to kill a person over a dog is crazy (dirtsufersocal is crazy), but to kill a dog over money? ...unless the dog was forcing the money to fight in a ring of death, then maybe I would consider it. The thing you seem to be missing is that Vick and his buddies actually KILLED animals for enjoyment and monetary gain. If I had sent pit bulls after Vick himself and filmed them chewing on his real head AND got paid then you would have an argument, as is you seem to be missing the simple irony.

well i find it funny as shit!!! I had a pit bull and he was a part of the family and i would killed somebody if they tried to make it fight and if you look up to people who do that sort of thing maybe its you who have double standards
