"How not to eat a durian fruit."
A lot of Malaysians are crazy about durian, the infamously stinky king of fruits. We shot this scene from my film short at a durian stand in downtown Kuala Lumpur. The durian stand owner (shown at 0:09 expertly opening a durian) even had business cards, one of which I still have. It's a prized possession. Neither Gavin, Andre, nor Yusman were big durian fans before shooting this, and I doubt that the experience of gorging on durians take after take made any of them acquire the taste.
