This video has nothing to do with men or woman's intellect. I'll stop here, as no one will pay any attention to what I say to you because you've poisoned the well.

This chick is too smart and may be difficult to handle for an average man.

@ROCKETBOOM Me,me,me, A Greek teaching logic! You barbarians know nothing! (I would know ..fallacy....) Since so many Greeks have been good at logical arguing then I am good at arguing (....fallacy...) Logic is a Greek word therefore only Greeks can be logic (...fallacy... we ignore all the other languages in the world, common sense) Also God exists therefore you have to listen to him, and you know what he told me? Give a tenth of your money to Konstantinos or when you die no afterlife! FAL

Also, you should explain why fallacies weaken arguments. The point (especially with fallacies of irrelevant premises) they tend to not assess a claim for it's merits. Like ad hominem. It uses an appeal to the person's character as a reason for why a claim should or should not be refuted. There are ways, though, in which mentioning a person's character/personality/social standing ect... doesn't have to be fallacious and can actually contribute to an argument. But I won't get into it.

This is not extreme intellectual material... this is like basic philosophy/logic stuff. And just to let you know there are fallacies of irrelevant premises and fallacies of unacceptable premises.
Just because you use an appeal to emotion or to tradition to try and support your claim doesn't mean it's automatically fallacious, either. Many times appeals to emotion are a part of the rhetoric of an argument, which may not be important on a logical level, but on a persuasive level they can matter.

@ROCKETBOOM A Chimp teaching us how to eat a banana :)

Certainly Pelosi’s “Just trust us with the content of the health care bill” qualifies as illogical a statement as any of these examples. And Obama’s ‘there will be hell to pay” attitude and rhetoric regarding the bill passage falls under a number of logical fallacy types.

These are fine examples of arguments san reason (especially the peanut butter argument), but how about some examples from the left-like the argument for the distribution of wealth which can only be argued by the use of a logical fallacy – most notably; Argumentum Ad Misericordiam (the appeal to misery).
