wind waker's sailing wasn't tedious :( where's your sense of adventure?

@mkocja5a Wind Waker's my favorite of all the Zelda games, and for most of the game the sailing is great. It's that ending scavenger hunt that gets really tedious.

I love the graphics and art style. For me it was never something that I had to learn to tolerate. I don't need all my games to look like Uncharted or COD. There's just something exuberantly juvenile about the graphics that captures the essence of the Lgend of Zelda games, which to me is about discovery, exploration, and childhood fantasies come to life. There's just an innocence to the graphics that help evoke these feelings, and I believe this would have been lost with a realistic HD look.

@anomaluigi I'm not looking for "realistic." I think people assume when I'm asking for HD, that's what I'm asking for. I think they just overtaxed the hardware they had and the painting effect just wasn't a great way to cover it up. I still think Wind Waker is an amazing looking game. I just don't think this one will age as well.

@anomaluigi it can be maintain and be hd, hd, has nothing to do with the art or style, its a resolution, when you play it on a 70 inch tv or even 50, it really show ugly pixel, wich dont add anything to the game, it substract, it a fucking awsome game, but the hd thing suck, i dont get why nintendo didnt see that coming

@CheIseaSmiIe They haven't been fading in the least. Both their hardware and software dominate the sales charts. What those people say is what you should not care about.

@greatemperorsteve I don't personaly, but Nintendo is always mocked and ignored by people for their lack of graphical performance and hardcore games. They've been fading and I think making their consoles able to run games that the Xbox/PS3 can would help them substantially. Even just giving it HD would stop some of the problems, but by the time Wii U is out, it will again, be way outdated.

If you want to see what he probably meant by HD, look up "skyward sword dolphin" on YouTube, see what SS looks like in HD, it's freaking amazing.
