  • Same here. Their first album came out the year I was fuckin born! I just bought it yesterday. It took me a long time to find bands like this. I also reccomend (if you have't heard) Transatlantic, Marillion, Spock's Beard and The Flower Kings.

  • Damn, how have I not heard this band?

  • Sounds like a cross between Kansas and Starcastle.

  • @OdysseyIntoOblivion

thanks for the tips - much prefer the snare drum sound Transatlantic has, in contrast to Glass Hammer's

  • It's great - only I can't help thinking someone should tell the drummer Randall Williams

to change his snare sound; it's obtrusive and always the same. 'if I could only find the words to say...' yup, there goes that snare drum again - constant and pointless.

  • Never heard these guys before.I can see why YES chose him to replace Benoit David.Another great band to check out is Pendragon.

  • The first acoustic guitar screams Dave Matthews.

  • and now Jon Davison is touring with Yes.... Hopefully Glass Hammer gets him back!

  • @s0undch4s3r ...or Trevor Rabin.

  • I recommend PHIDEAUX to all GLASS HAMMER lovers... they are both GREAT!!!

  • Love that progression and guitar part at 2:58 .... Sounds like something Allan Holdsworth would come up with..twisted and tasty...love it.
