@luckofheirishlp Thankfully I have worked next door to an AF recruiting office and you haven't. I know what I am talking about, you don't. Also, that's not exactly what I said or how I said it so please don't misquote me. I will let you know that you're right, at least partially, as their is sometimes a waiting list which I think is hilarious. People want in the AF so bad that they rather be a Cook in the AF than in Satellite Communications in the Army. Makes me laugh, as you do.

Actually they don't trick anyone into joining. They don't tell anyone they will be flying any planes. In fact the Air Force does not need people. Anyone looking to join is lucky to get on the waiting list.

I hate how the Air Force tricks people into joining under the guise of flying a plane. It's really horse crap.

Traveled this road and briefed the incident as a CIED case study to incoming troops. Lots to be learned from this incident but the female airman wasn't to blame

Just goes to show you that no matter what you are, may it be an Army infantry man or an Air Force Academy woman officer, Afghanistan is a deadly place.
