i agree that qe3 will come, however it simply won't be enough to stop the double dip. there is no more investor faith in quantitative easing. we're are so hooked on money crack that a trillion dollars in the bond market might give the equities a two week buzz. I believe the dow/gold ratio will drop to 1 or less. I am of course bullish on commodities, I believe we are heading into a 70's style stagflation which is bearish for currencies and equities, but extremely bullish for commodities.

If you look at the 70's we are are doing exactly what they did. I think gold and dow will meet at about 6700, with silver going up as high as $350 per ounce. I think peak oil will assure oil prices going to go through the roof. So i disagree with Mr. Gotleib on equites, but I agree on most of what he says.

I want this kid for my Broker. He blows me away how much he knows for 17. Most kids his age are out riding skateboards! So question is, once qe3 is announced how long will it take silver to surpase the 50 mark? Also , is FPM a good mining stock? Thank you.

@stockmarketfreak It doesn't look to me like the real sell off in stocks has occurred yet. It's certainly possible that bonds will start rising at the end of QE2, maybe even right on June 30, but I think the sell off in stocks is going to be tremendous and the energy from that sell off could still send bonds lower for another month. Once the stock market sells off, then bonds will have to rise. And a good sell off is exactly what's needed in order for the cries for QE3 to become louder.
silver back to 50 by years end?

@sonastainbrook I dont have a time machine so I can't tell you exactly when silver will be back at 50... I just know that it will be back at that price. And I would stay away from day trading unless youre extremely smart. I know that I am not smart enough to time stocks and find trends day by day. It is much easier for me to just predict how stocks are going to do over the course of a few years.
