Yes this will work but you have to search on google for the correct firmware that goes with your device. If you do not use the right firmware this will not work. Best of luck.

I AM SO MAD... well not really, every time I click shift and then hold it and press restore it says: RESTORE AND UPDATE
WHaT SHould i do??????HHEELLLP!!

Try it on another computer. The shift key and click always works. Maybe there is something wrong on your pc. Best of luck.
