You mean the franchise has copied gritty action films like the Bourne series. The even stole the emo scenes of said franchise in CR: Bond taking a look at himself in the mirror after the staircase fight = Bourne looking into his own eyes after another non descript fight with X henchmen

"How much do you know about fear..." = Lame, lame, lame... We've been fed this crap for 17 years now since that awful beach scene in Goldeneye. Even with Craig they have to play up the PC/postmodern James Bond emo crap. Disgusting.

any true bond fan who has read the early books knows bond didn't use gadgets as a crutch. i like them just fine but this character driven bond is a breath of fresh air.

gadgets? we have all the gadgets now... look at all the past Bond movies.. from miniaturization to computer facial recognition to Geo-location tracking devices, Bond could have all that and more in a so called 'smart-phone' today... it's all about the data now, information, thats why they created Facebook & Twitter for you people, like a walled garden of spying/tracking services for the proletariat to amuse themselves with, then we got the 'snoopers' charter... but yeah Skyfall will be amazing.
