i need it....im only 23 but ..i tried and tried and tried to make it work...at work! from learning problems mental problems i was a mess..and one day i had a broke down. i am in a place where i see alot of people that are just lazy and have it and i seen people that spend it on drugs and aint need'n ss. it makes me sick. bcuz i busted my ass every night trying to do something i knew i couldnt do ..like i was reaching for a star that was floating far away into the damn eclips....i hate it

you are so right,, i have been a bus driver for 16 yrs and one day i was in a car accident where my truck flip about 5 times i couldn't even walk and i was denied ssa and its been 2yrs now and im still trying to get some type of income,,,, i love what you are preaching about,,have a great day because you are speaking for all the working people who may need help one day,,,,

it is angering to see this happen on going. It's a shame to see those who are truly sick being denied and those with a crafty Dr. and know how to answer the guestions get home scott free with the benefits.

Lots of people are on government assistance that have questionable abilities to be really capable of working. There are alot of unemployed individuals that are Partners here on yt. I really find hard to believe that yt can solely pay all of the basic expenses to live.....rent/mortage, utilities, etc. I suspect somehow they are working the system by collecting SSI assistance. They have to have some source of income to pay for their basic, living expenses. They certainly are quiet in these areas.

ITs not hard to get mental meds from a doctor. you can tell your doctor anything and get them. #1, doctors get kickback on meds, #2, pharmacuticals are big money for the pharm industry! ANYONE Can get Mental pills !!

@bhstwo I agree, I see people with So called for "Bipolar" and "depression, yet a person who cant walk are still fighting to get it. I noticed Bipolar and depression people are out doing what they WANT to do, yet when u mention work, they go into an episode. I wish i could get a check just because i didnt want to work. lol

social security just dont give you a check for no reason im wondering just how much next to dead do you really have to be to get approved if you do have a medical condition and the only ones i see who are getting it and can work are the adults with a learing disabilty are the ones thats laid back doing nothing im a payee and it makes me mad they can work but they feel as long as they are getting a lazy check why should they work and its a dam shame you cant get it if you have a medical condition
