Hi, ich hatte dieses Video vor einiger Zeit schon mal gesehen und fand die Idee eigentlich ganz gut, hatte nur noch keine Hapi. Jetzt habe ich seit einiger Zeit eine und vor ein paar Tagen habe ich mir dann so eine Folie geholt wie du sie benutzt hast. Hab dann mal ein wenig herum probiert und habe letzt endlich,

die Folie teilweise von unten an die Zungen geklebt oder hab sie zwischen die Schlitze an den Zungen befestigt, wodurch diese Zungen dann sozusagen leicht abgedeckt sind.

Das Ergebnis ist ein viel abwechsleungsreicherer Klang durch Zungen mit verkürzter Ausklingzeit oder leichter bis starker (Verzerrung).

Kann ich echt nur empfehlen und danke für diese Inspiration.

I like experimental ideas, one never know just what the outcome might be. Its interesting to listen to this without watching. You hear it in a different way .

Never would have thought of wrapping the drum in plastic... What about a clear plastic wrap, that way you could still see the drum face . I might try that.. thanks for thinking outside the box.
