Its still popping, but not like it used to be. They now change up their spots, I miss the good old days.

I'm pretty sure that DPA was popping until at least 2005.. Haven't been there recently, but from what I hear it's trash.

Jeez lol. sounds like theres enough people to set it back to the way it was..hmmm cough cough....

I remember cruising DPA and parking in Channels, if you could find a spot to park. Racing on Commack road was also pretty fun! Good Times.......

its kinda the same from what i hear but now its all about doing donuts and burnouts for some reason. i went last saturday there was alot of cars but to many kids there. and it also takes way to long to get to the spot.
I was a regular back in the 80's. The Sears (Channel) parking lot was packed on a Friday or Saturday night. Deer Park Ave was in Car Craft magazine back then. They rated it as one of the TOP TEN hottest cruising spot in the country. I still have the article somewhere. We even had a start/ finish line spray painted in the street. Lots of old school muscle cars back then.
