OMG... Marilyn McCoo and Chuck Mangione together... two of my favorite musical artists on the same stage... I think my head is going to explode!

Marilyn really shined with the proper song. She wasn't adept with every style.
But, when she had the right song, she was in a league of her own.

I wonder why Marilyn did not sing this song in a lace lingerie. Oh silly me...Marilyn has class and can actually sing there is no need for her to come out half naked. I don't know what I was thinking (Beyonce, Rihanna, GaGa, and all the rest).

God is she beautiful, with such class. Her voice is so pure and sweet. Watched solid gold just to see her.
-
I fall in love with Marilyn every time I hear her voice. She is so very beautiful.

I've loved this woman since I was 18. Whitney could've been this good but no one else today could've touched Marilyn's stage presence or talent.
-
For those who don't know, this is the lady who made this song a hit while with the Fifth Dimension in 1970. -Not "Glee".
-
Billy Davis You gotta be the luckiest Man on this Earth.
'Nuff said.
-
One of music's most beautiful women with a voice to match!
-
Not only is Chuck amazing on the horn, he can play the hell out of that Rhodes electric piano!
And Marilyn... well, there aren't words good enough to describe her. :D
-
its hard to put into words on how amazing her voice is
Even with the messed up sound--it's still great. It's a shame they didn't have about 5 minutes to really get into it--to elongate it into an actual jazz number. So much talent!

Thanks, Branner, for the nice comments. I really wish I had a clean version of this one, but maybe someone else with Solid Gold footage will post it some day. I'm still looking for a live version of "Never My Love" or "Love's Lines Angles and Rhymes" from the 70's or 80's, but don't remember seeing either of those on Solid Gold.
