  • He's made many smart changes to the military budget. He's cut many programs that were millions of dollars over budget. If Bush had focused on Afghanistan instead of wasting a trillion dollars in Iraq, the war would have been over a long time ago. Now, Pakistan and Afghanistan is a breeding ground for our enemies...

  • Let this guy do this to American prisoners. People might not give a shit when we do it to brown people from across the sea with funny names, but they have to notice when we start torturing American citizens.

  • holy fuck i've met bybee and this man is fucking scum...... i've smoked pot with his sons hahaha. i feel dirty.

  • America is now on the International list of torturing Nations.

    Added to it by Canada

    The 12 Lawyers

you are harboring 12 war criminals wanted for crimes against humanity.

Until such time as the American people hand them over to international courts

their guilt is on your heads as you are harboring them

  • check out "Through Our Enemies Eyes" for a pretty thorough outline of what actually breeds terrorist groups - I just gave my uncle that book to read, he had a lot of the same views as you. I'm hoping that book gives him some facts to consider when drawing his conclusions about this 'war on terror.'

  • cuts? His military budget is bigger than the Bush budget, I read - you might want to search up for the recent numbers on it. Also - I wouldn't be so sure about Afghanistan being a breezy win for the USA if only we'd stayed focussed on it... look into what happened when Russia tried the same. But the biggest question isn't 'could we win', it's "is this constitutional?" and is there another way to address the rogue groups of radicals our government suspects of terrorist acts.

  • He campaigned on ending the wars and occupations - but his military budget is even higher than the Bush budget.
