Devil Survivor: Quick-Guide To Getting Black Frost

Black Frost is an optional character than can be used on Gin's and Naoya's routes. He is a demon and a tamer who automatically reflects fire and ice and is weak to force. His stats lean to Magic and to Strength after it.

NOTE THAT BLACK FROST WILL DISAPPEAR DURING THE FINAL BATTLE ON GIN'S ROUTE!

This character is pretty easy to get.

-pick an optional Midori-fight that appears on the Third Day. YOU WON'T GET BLACK FROST IF YOU DON'T DO THIS BATTLE!
-after the battle, see a Midori-event where she talks to a Jack Frost about the power of love. THIS IS IMPORTANT!
-on the Sixth Day, a battle with Black Frost appears. In the battle you have to protect some weak demons and keep Black Frost alive
-once you win the battle Frosty will join your party on the Last Day on Gin's and Naoya's routes

@xHeLLxmasteRx He can be used on Naoya's/Kaido's and Gin's Last Days, but not on any other Last Day. (Naoya and Kaido have basically the same Last Day.)

Are there some kind of limitations on how you can use him? I'm on the final day of Naoya's route and no matter what I do or what button I press he simply can't be added to a team. He also doesn't show up for fusions.

@prudence00 Black Frost is counted as a team leader, "human". You use him like any other human-character, so no, you can't fuse him either. Besides, he is just a huge Jack Frost with coal on his face, right?

So consider him human with elemental stats.

Jack Frost is my favorite Demon / Demon Tamer just because he's a Jack Frost. Lol

But I don't use him in battle, just because of the elemental weaknesses and reflecting and because I prefer to use Midori and Mari as Magic-based characters more.

I wish we could've seen more of him in cutscenes and such though.

In the original Japanese version, he's called "Jaaku Frost", because "ja-aku" means evil. Since most Americans are not total weaboos, Atlus America decided on "Black Frost". I find him useful just so long as Null-Force or Force Repel is applied to his Skills list.
