When shooting video at higher ISO's with a Canon 5D Mark II, the sensor has a tendency to develop a hot pixel or two or three. You have to send the camera to Canon's support center in order to have the hot pixels mapped out in software. That means your 5DM2 could be out of commission for several weeks. A while back I encountered the problem of a hot pixel in low light footage (hence shot at a higher ISO) that I shot for a client. The hot pixel stood out like a sore thumb! The only option I had at that moment was to fix it in post.
CHV's DeadPixel plugin came to the rescue. In this video and screencast I show you how to use it. It saved the day for me and hopefully will do the same for you.
This video was made a couple of years ago for my Digital Convergence podcast on 16x9 Cinema. It's an oldie but goodie. I had intended to produce several video podcast episodes, but that never came to fruition.
This is truly a lifesaver. Thank you very much. I had filmed an entire project and realized after I had a blaring white pixel right dead center in the frame. This helped immensely.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I just shot a job and this problem had me completely freaking out. I thought I was going to have to go in and retouch every frame. Thank you again.

Love the video! Very entertaining and funny! :-) I did a time lapse video at night and noticed 4 dead pixels in my 5D footage.. The CHV Repair Collection is really great! Thank you very much for your help!
