Andalusians Stallions Nose to Nose

I was hired by a woman to take pictures of two Andalusian Stallions for a horse magazine called "Horse of Kings." My best friend, Patricia was dying of cancer and I was with her all the time so at first I said no. The woman was desperate because the famous photographer she had hired, cancelled because his house burned down in a L. A. fire and she had little time to make it in the ads.
Someone had told her that "Julieann Nordstrom" did "power" shots of horses and could come up with something original and unique for her two full page ads.
She begged me to please come look at them. I felt bad and thought I would just drive out to take a look. Andalusians were a fairly new breed over here and I wanted to see them up close. When I was walked to their stalls, my mouth dropped open. I have NEVER seen such beautiful horses except in movies. They were gentle and friendly as well when I went into each of their stalls.
I found the place I wanted to do the shoot and there was this young girl sitting on a stump watching the scene. We were all anxious because we were trying to get a nose to nose shot without them killing each other or hurting the handlers.
It happened and we screamed it was so exciting even though the one lunged at the other. I was very proud of the ads as well.

Why are you jerking on their mouths so much?! That is a very sensitive area. This doesn't look like a stunning video to me, it looks like three idiots hurting and putting two beautiful horses in danger.

I wanna craw through the computer and yank on the people's mouths like that! -.- In horses the mouth is a very sensitive area on them. And with the people having them in such close contact, it puts the horses in danger. Hope the people are happy with themselves because I'm not. I raised horses. Come to me and I'll show you how to handle horses like that. I'm like a walking encyclopedic of horses.

I am a photogrpher too... Next time find a mare in heat...or not...and take her vulva liquid and put it on the stallions...near there noses, they will act like little stars for you and you can lose the bridles! Happy shooting ;)
