Huey P Long "Share the Wealth"

He makes good points, but his idea could have turned communist in a hurry. But then again, the super wealthy have always supported communism anyhow. Communism exists at extremes.

For a good objective bio of Long, watch Ken Burns' "LONG" DVD. I actually knew many of Long's friends and associates. It was a love/hate relationship. Someone like Long was bound to come along just like Hitler in Germany.

It's about time someone made a negative statement about Long... people seem to think he was democratic and venerable!

Tell like it is Huey! Those were the days when a man could tell the truth publicly and not be censured.

Funny thing is Long let up marshal law in Louisiana in order to silence and censor any opposition. He was practically a dictator, he sent police to destroy printing presses that printed stuff he did not like. Anyone who dared to tell the truth who he did not like, he had them fired, their property taxes raised, set up laws to ruin them, and on and on.

I know Dr.Weiss' son who is a well-known a doctor in New York, and it is well-known that he is the son of Weiss who killed Huey Long. . He is Jewish.
