Ok its been a week since my BC and my TWA is extremely dry!!! I took my twist out and it was down hill from there. I researched the Curley Girl Method, and needless to say I have to throw all of my shampoos and silicone based products away (ALL THAT $$$!!!).

I havent given up, but since my hair is too short to to do the styles that I want to do, I am getting braids!!! Thats right, and in a couple of weeks/months I will be back to document my CG regimen.

I plan on using the following NATURAL / ORGANIC products:

TIGI Bed Head Moisture Maniac
Giovanni Moisture Conditioner/Leave-in Conditioner
VO5/Suave Naturals
Jane Carter Replenishing Conditioner
Continue utilizing my oils (Jojoba/Vitamin E/ EVOO/Tea Tree/Grape Seed)
Ashea Shea Butter Pomade
Hydrothermal Naturals Growth Lotion
Ayurvedic Powder and Oil Treatments
Drink MADD water!!

  • It is recommended that you use shampoos and conditioners with no cones and no sulphates. However, you may have to experiment and see what works best for your hair. I have made a decision to stay away from both cones and sulphates. There are tons of products without them. Check out my videos..you'll see what I use.

  • Even though I have briads now Im still going to use products w/o cones and sulfates, thanks I'll check your videos out!!

  • Girl, don't worry. Actually you won't know your true definition until you reach your 2-3 month. I can't wait to see your braids!!!
