@bblover45 if you watch kanon 2002, you'll see that yuuichi/ ayu had a much more intimate relationship. In the 2006 version, they expanded all the character arcs so much, they basically rushed the ayu bit. Anyway, the 2002 version is a lot better, storyline-wise

I agree. Like I like her and all but theres something about her being the one who gets the best ending that pisses me off. like I just felt.. idk. why HER. why not THEM. like I totally get ur whole her having it great while the others didnt. thats why i get so mad because it feels bleh. I just want to yell when he ends up with her because I dont think there right for each other and it pisses me off how much the writer favors her

Thanks so much! I love Shiori too. And I still have a hard time making up my mind which pairing I like the best. I like Shiori, Makoto, and Mai with Yuuichi.

oh haha but not ayu?
in truth Im not an ayu/yuuichi person. its not a bad couple but they werent developed. like it felt like he didnt like her that way at all so when he kissed her i was like WTF! but I agree. Makoto/yuuichi was my favorite. then mai and yuuichi. shiori and yuu are cute 2. Id be kinda curious to see him with nayuki since we dont get much of that.

Although Ayu was a good and the main story, I still like the other "contenders" better. I think they worked harder personally. Shiori with her illness, Makoto degenerating, and Mai fighting against her power and destroying part of herself. They all had hard times! I think they deserve a little reward, don't you? Ayu, on the other hand, didn't have much of a hard time until the very end. Most of the time she was perfectly happy. I personally don't think she deserved him. And sorry Nayuki :(
